We have been searching for information to understand the workings of the of the scissor industry which is diverse and complex at times. The Japanese Industry has been leaders in improving the scissor for years. The competition between scissor factories is fierce they all claim to have the leading and best Quality product.

Ole Larsen has been trained in the style of scissor making the way the old Scissor Smiths did it. He carries those Traditions on today in in his Factory in Denmark.

All his steel and scissor blanks are sourced form Japanese factories and are made of what is stated on his scissors it is nice to find a source to have confidence in.

  • “I have been grooming for 15 years and always thought I was cursed as everything I bought (clippers, scissors, and blades) would crap out soon after. Turns out I needed an awesome sharpener. Brian, you're my hero. You may not retire before I do.“

  • Brian is by far the best sharpener in Ontario! He has been the only sharpener to actually spend time answering any questions and educate me on my tools! His quality of sharpening is far beyond the others it doesn't even compare! My equipment stays sharper and lasts longer when maintained only by Brian he also doesn't rush and spends the time he needs to truly make your tools work their best!
